How long have you been blogging/vlogging/creating content? One year
Why did you decide to start your blog/vlog?
I’ve always loved writing. I run my own business so I started my blog as a way to switch off from work but I’m loving it and now want to take it further.
Do you see this becoming a career or part of your career? Yes
What do you hope to achieve for your content in 2018 and what’s your big-picture goal?
I want to create some fabulous blog posts & I have a lot of ideas for my content. I’d love to make it a full-time career.
What is your favourite social media channel & why?
Twitter as I find it very supportive in the blogging community and as a new blogger I’ve learnt a lot from so many others.
What is your favourite tool or app that helps in your content creation? Google & WordPress
Who is your blogging/vlogging/content inspiration and why?
Niomi Smart & Lydia Elise Millen as I love their style & content but also Megan Ellaby for her down to earth approach & likeable personality.
What do you like to do on weekends? Where can we find you hanging out?
Restaurants, taking my family to the theatre, Days out, dog walking, weekend breaks, Centre Parcs, visiting friends & family, shopping, cocktail bars, spas.
If you could go anywhere in the world or experience any one thing, what would it be?
I’ve travelled the world extensively as a professional dancer on cruise ships so I have seen & experienced many things. However, I’m desperate to see the Maldives & go on Safari in Africa as these are the two places I didn’t get to see.
What're your tips for staying motivated and/or organised in your work?
I’m naturally a very organised person & I swear by lists & my huge Diary. As a mother of two & having run my own theatre school for over 20 years I’m constantly busy, motivated & being creative teaching lots of children & young adults.
What is the one piece of advice you’d give other content creators & aspiring bloggers/vloggers?
Just go for it and never mind what others think. It’s a fantastic way to express yourself and a lovely way to meet others in the blogging community.
