Martin Miller’s invited some WeBloggers to the King Street Townhouse Hotel for a magical evening of gin tasting, history lessons and a few magic tricks to surprise and delight.
What a wonderful way to spend a Thursday evening! We arrived to delicious rosehip and rhubarb gin cocktails - yum! - as we caught up with new and old WeBloggers.
As we sipped our cocktails, the Martin Miller’s team talked us through the history of gin itself, but also how Martin Miller came to create an iconic global brand. Did you know that Martin Miller’s is the most award-winning gin in the world?
We got to taste 3 very different gins and learn about the complexity in flavours using different methods and different botanical blends. From a gin geek like myself - it was so interesting!
Then, the guys mixed things up and got us involved in some magic tricks. Card tricks always blow my mind, and they did not disappoint. I think some of the ladies, myself included, were lost for words. You’ll have to watch the vlog clip below to see some of them in action - he pulled someone’s card out of a lemon!
To top off the evening, Martin Miller’s set up a DIY gin and tonic station, where we chose our favourite garnishes and created our own custom G&T. Delicious!
As we sipped and enjoyed, the guys handed out Martin Miller’s G&T goodie bags, with our very own bottle and plenty of Fever Tree tonic to recreate our drinks at home.
Thank you Martin Miller’s for such a lovely evening - and of course, to all our WeBloggers who attended for making it an unforgettable Thursday evening.
