How long have you been blogging/vlogging/creatin
I've been creating The Frugal Fox since September 2017 but have had practice blogs before. This was the first blog that I honestly loved creating, building and growing.
Why did you decide to start your blog/vlog?
Everybody wants to save money but the 'frugal' blogs I had seen prior to The Frugal Fox were advising you how to save money really well but expecting you to never go out, never do anything and never see anyone.
I saw a gap in the blogging world to help readers to still live your life, have experiences & travel the world but just by being smart with your money.
Do you see this becoming a career or part of your career?
Yes, 100% - I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't think it would grow into a huge resource blog for people across the globe.
What do you hope to achieve for your content in 2018 and what’s your big-picture goal?
My blog is relatively new in the blog world so I'm looking to continue building and growing the content by listening to what people respond to and what they love/don't love.
Overall I would love to create a book for the budget-conscious savvy-chic in all of us.
What is your favourite social media channel & why?
I love Instagram because I'm a very visual person and creating beautiful little pics that lead on to a much large in-depth post can really tease people about what it's about in a glance.
What is your favourite tool or app that helps in your content creation?
The WordPress app is great as I can respond to comments, write posts and create about 90% of the content you can do on the site. Usually, apps are so restrictive but the WordPress app is a travel bloggers dream.
Who is your blogging/vlogging/content
I don't have one person of inspiration but the #debtfreecommunity on Instagram is a small hive of bloggers and people who are inspiring to me.
I love anyone who stands up and admits a flaw and works their butt off to fix it - be it weight-loss, mental health issues or a financial mess.
What do you like to do on weekends? Where can we find you hanging out?
The Frugal Fox is everything to me at the moment so if I'm not working on that I can probably be found either at the gym, planning my wedding or playing video games to switch off from everything.
If you could go anywhere in the world or experience any one thing, what would it be?
I would love to take a year off work and travel through different cultures with no ties or worries of where I need to be. My life is so structured and I need that to be successful but the grass is always greener...
What're your tips for staying motivated and/or organised in your work?
Always work a month ahead so if you have a holiday/Christmas/awful week at work, you don't feel burdened to come home and write. Blogging is a second (unpaid!) job and you have to love it to do it.
What is the one piece of advice you’d give other content creators & aspiring bloggers/vloggers?
Don't pay upfront for a fancy website and lots of promotion etc. You need to find your voice first before you pay. This is my 4th or 5th blog and if I had put money into my first it would have been a waste.
Write, write, write and then listen, listen, listen to what the readers like and don't like.

In my real adult job I run a company buying and selling designer accessories - which I love doing!
