We kicked off WeBlogOnTour last weekend with our Newcastle meetup.
This event has been in the pipeline for a few months, and we were so happy to see lots of North East Bloggers, Vloggers and Content Creators just as excited about it as we were.
The Alchemist hosted us for the afternoon, and everyone got to try one of their fabulous cocktails. As soon as the cocktails came out, the phones and cameras came out! Boomerangs, selfies, the perfect flat lay for Instagram - their show-stopping cocktails were the perfect way to kick off a content creator social.
As always with WeBlogNorth events, everyone was welcomed and even the attendees who’d arrived alone were able to join groups of conversation and meet some fellow content creators!
Holly came up with the idea of WeBlogOnTour because we’ve always been aware of the other cities and hubs around the North that are full of you guys, eager to get involved with our community and events. We’re pleased to see this was well received, as so many people thanked us personally for coming to Newcastle. This is what we’re all about - championing Northern creatives and making sure nobody misses out on the fun just because they don’t live down in the capital.
So, where shall we go next with WeBlogOnTour? - Leeds is a strong contender and scoring high in all our polls, but we’re also thinking Liverpool, York or Sheffield?
