We headed down to The Grill on the Alley on Tuesday night to attend the Northern Blog Awards Launch Party.
As you may know, Holly is the founder of the Northern Blog Awards alongside WeBlogNorth, so I headed down earlier to help her set things up.
From delicious canapés provided by The Grill on the Alley and their fabulous new Manchester wall mural outside (many selfies were taken) to yummy gin cocktails and G&T’s thanks to the team at Daffy’s Gin. Daffy’s even had temporary tattoos to hand out, which from what I saw on a few tipsy Insta stories went down very well haha!
The Northern Blog Awards sponsors provided some lovely treats for everyone’s goodie bags, and some of the sponsors were there on the night to connect with shortlisters and network.
As always we love seeing the team Christy girls, and a big thank you to all the other fab sponsors involved - Bathroom Takeaway, Booths and Hey Little Cupcake.
It was a great opportunity for everyone, shortlisted in every category, to come together, mingle and hopefully make some new mates ahead of the big night. I spoke to quite a few shortlisters who were really excited to meet and chat with other content creators in their category - yay! It’s all about connection and collaboration, not competition.
The party was a huge success, everyone had such a fabulous time! It was the perfect warm-up for the blogging event of the year.
